Company Autočačak was founded in the beginning of 1991.** Quickly, it established contact and cooperation with Kragujevac's Zastava, becoming the first private company with a contract for the sale and servicing of the passenger and freight program of this company. In the spring of 1996, collaboration with the Czech car company Škoda Auto began. The sales growth trend has been present to this day, and over the three decades of operation, over 100,000 Škoda vehicles have been delivered to customers in Serbia and Montenegro. Another indicator of success is the market share, which has consistently exceeded 20% for many years.

The headquarters of the company Autočačak is located in Čačak, where the sales salon, service workshops, hotel, and restaurant are also situated. The Škoda Training Center, where technical and non-technical training is organized by certified trainers, is located at the same location. Škoda enthusiasts can also visit the Škoda Museum, which exhibits ten very attractive models.

Sales salons, built according to the current standards of Škoda Auto, are located in all major centers, and the service network is one of the most extensive. In recent years, Autočačak has developed a network of authorized Škoda dealers and service centers throughout Serbia and Montenegro, and a recent addition is the newly opened Škoda City Store within the Galerija Shopping Center. The sales network now consists of 19 dealers and 26 service centers. It is particularly important for the company that its efforts and work are recognized by others because the goal is not only to achieve good financial results but also to contribute to the development of local communities.
