BELGRADE – The Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers, at its General Assembly, has elected a new leadership that will lead the Association in the next two-year term.

The outgoing president, Milan Belin, director of Renault Nissan Serbia, who chaired the Association in the previous two-year period, did not run for re-election.
On the proposal of the Board of Directors, Aleksandra Đurđević, the General Director of Delta Auto Group and Vice President of Delta Holding, was unanimously elected as the new president. Aleksandra Đurđević will preside over the General Assembly of the Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers for the next two years.

In addition to the election of the president, new members of the Association's Board of Directors were elected by the vote of the present members. In the next two-year term, the Board of Directors will consist of the following representatives: Dušan Joksimović (Star Import), Slobodan Pešić (Porsche SCG), Slobodan Marjanović (Mazda), Ediz Husović (Toyota Serbia), Milan Belin (Renault Nissan Serbia), and Jelena Janićijević (Burnout).
The Assembly also unanimously confirmed that Aleksandra Đurđević would transfer the position of the president of the Vehicle Importers Group at the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia to Milan Belin due to her new role in the Association. Milan Belin will be nominated for the new president of the Importers Group at the CCS.

The Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers confirmed reports on its work, financial performance, budget, and plans for the next period. The main goals that the Association will focus on include engaging in dialogue with relevant institutions and companies on the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles, financial and non-financial incentives for the purchase of electrified vehicles, networking of interests, traffic safety, and the current issues faced by the members.

Additionally, this year, the Association will celebrate an important milestone, its 25th anniversary.
