The 85th regular assembly of the Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers was held, and new members were admitted.Eighteen members from the ranks of importers attended the assembly, ensuring a quorum for decision-making as well as:
1. Association President, Aleksandra Đurđević
2. Members of the Association's Board of Directors
3. Association Secretary General, Boris Ćorović
Association President Aleksandra Đurđević opened the session with a proposed agenda that was unanimously adopted.
Agenda:
- Report on the work and activities of the Association during 2023;
- Financial report;
- Status of members, admission of new members;
- Initiatives for the next period;
- Analysis of the "DDOR BG Car Show and Motopassion 2024";
- Miscellaneous.
After the presentation of the Association's work report for 2023 by Secretary General Boris Ćorović, it was noted that RAAVEX-GROUP DOO NIŠ has been managing the Motogrini brand since 2023, thus automatically becoming a member of the Association, replacing the previous member MOTOGRINI GRUPPO. It was also noted that CROSSROAD ADRIA DOO has taken over the distribution of the FIAT, ALFA ROMEO, LANCIA, ABARTH, and FIAT COMMERCIAL brands, so instead of the previous member FCA SRBIJA, CROSSROAD ADRIA DOO is the new member based on the distribution of those brands.
Companies that are part of broader importer groups but were not previously formal members have now become formal members, and a decision was made to admit 3 new companies into membership:
1. ADRIATIC AUTO DOO, importer for NISSAN
2. SERVICE MAXX AUTO DOO, importer for GEELY, VOLVO, LYNK&CO.
3. EUROIMPEX AUTOMOTIVE, importer for OPEL
During the further course of the session, President Aleksandra Đurđević presented the results of a satisfaction survey regarding the work and key areas that the Association should focus on in the coming period, namely:
- Strengthening the Association's influence
- Education and workforce development
- Import of used vehicles
- Electrification and infrastructure development
