On the 20th of July 2022, a meeting was held between the members of the Board of Directors of the Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers and representatives of the Traffic Safety Agency, aiming to enhance mutual cooperation.
The Director of the Traffic Safety Agency, Branko Stamatović, and the President of the Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers, Aleksandra Đurđević, announced the upcoming signing of a Protocol on Cooperation.
During this occasion, the method of establishing communication between authorized representatives of manufacturers in the Republic of Serbia and the Traffic Safety Agency was agreed upon. This is aimed at facilitating more efficient communication and providing information to inspectors during technical inspections, with the goal of streamlining the process of checking the technical fitness and registration of vehicles for the citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
Throughout the meeting, possibilities for improving collaboration were discussed, with specific proposals outlined for further work. Additionally, the meeting featured a presentation of the Regulation on Vehicle Homologation and the use of a database on new vehicles to be sold in the Republic of Serbia.
