According to the data from the Serbian Association of Vehicle Importers and Parts, the market for motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, light and heavy tricycles, and quad bikes in Serbia was very dynamic in 2023. Here are some key points about the sales:


  1. Motorcycles: There was a significant increase in motorcycle sales by 26.8%, from 1,712 sold in 2022 to 2,171 in 2023. The best-selling brand in 2023 was Honda with 361 motorcycles, while BMW took the second place with 294 motorcycles.


  1. Mopeds: Moped sales significantly dropped in 2023, with only 4 units sold, compared to 15 mopeds sold in 2022. All sold mopeds were of the same brand - "Kymco."


  1. Scooters: Scooter sales decreased by about 25.9% in 2023 compared to the previous year. In 2023, 825 fewer scooters were sold - a total of 2,356. In 2023, Peda motor sold the most scooters with 479 units, followed by Yamaha with 389, and Piaggio with 325. In contrast, Piaggio was the best-selling scooter brand in 2022 with 1,336 units. Peda motor delivered 391, and Yamaha 327 scooters.


  1. Light Tricycles: Sales of light tricycles decreased from 25 sold in 2022 to 17 in 2023. Zongshen remained the best-selling brand in both years.


  1. Heavy Tricycles: Demand for heavy tricycles increased, with 187 units sold in 2023 compared to 158 in 2022. Yamaha, Piaggio, Can-Am, and Peugeot were among the popular brands.


  1. Light Quad Bikes: In 2023, not a single light quad bike was sold, while 16 were sold in 2022.


  1. Heavy Quad Bikes: Sales of heavy quad bikes decreased by 16.6% in 2023 compared to the previous year, from 1,503 to 1,253 sold vehicles. CF Moto, Odes, and Peda motor were the best-selling brands.


In conclusion, although the sales of some vehicle categories declined, the market for motorcycles and similar vehicles remained dynamic, with some brands maintaining or improving their market share
